Chingford and Woodford Green Constituency

In 1997, the constituency was created from wards in both the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Redbridge.

The constituency has natural boundaries (Epping Forest to the north, the Lea Valley reservoirs to the west, the North Circular Road to the South and the old A11 to the east) but straddles the two London Boroughs.

It comprises six wards from Waltham Forest (Endlebury, Hatch Lane, Hale End & Highams Park, Larkswood, Valley and Chingford Green) and two wards from Redbridge (Monkhams and Church End).

The Constituency is likely to have its boundaries changed again, before the next General Election, when new boundaries come into force to cater for the reduced number of MPs. Nearer the time we may organise a sweepstake on the various boundary possibilities.
